That background looks like a net, so I’m going to assume that they mean my first time scoring a winning goal in a hockey game.
Sadly, the answer is no. :c
Small acts of kindness make me feel some kinda way about humanity.
My neighbor works at a hospital and is often coming and going at weird hours throughout the week. A few months ago I started bringing the neighborsโ bin back from the curb after pickup, just so he and his wife would have one less thing to keep track of one day a week.
Yesterday I had to run an errand during lunch. The weather has been nice and surprisingly mild so I wasnโt surprised to see the neighbor out with his pressure washer cleaning the cars when I left. By the time I got back heโd just finished pressure washing the pavement and steps leading up to our front stoop.
We barely see each other. Heโs the only neighbor on our part of the block I donโt have some kind of contact info for. We are still, for most intents and purposes, strangers to each other, but we live in community together and thatโs beautiful. ๐ญโจ
Dedicated to @social-justice-cleric whose response to my salsa fiasco was “TAKE A SIP” and had the audacity to think that I wouldn’t prove a point and make eye contact the whole time doing it.
I can’t decide if it’s horrifying or a huge relief that I’ve already hit peak dumbass in life
Sometimes I think you just have to do your laundry and the dishes and take out the trash and put clean sheets on the bed and hope that tomorrow is kinder
and shower. it sucks, but it helps make tomorrow kinder.
