Endreal, The Butler Who Did It
‘If people stop eating meat, we’re going to have to grow more grain to compensate’

I… what? Do you think meat just spawns in the store or something?

Haha :)

In reality (for all the omnivores out there) it takes more vegetation to feed a cow or a pig than it does a human. So by consuming animal products (dairy and meat) you’re actually supporting a system that grows MORE crops than the plant based lifestyle.

In a way, an omnivore “consumes” more vegetables than a vegan.

Want to reduce your impact on the environment and use less resources? Try out a plant-based lifestyle!

[Article: Which is better for the environment - Local or Veg*n?]

“In the end, the researchers found that cutting the meat and animal products or even just cutting back on the red meat one day per week is more significant than buying all your food from local sources.”

I’ll back this up, even as a non-vegan. Cutting down on meat, especially red meat, reduces the total environmental impact of the human diet.
