Somewhere between “thank god I finally got paid” and “I’ve been wearing these jeans for about 8 days”, a fella starts to realize it might be time to acquire new pants.

For everyday practicality, I went with a new pair of jeans. Jeans are functional, comfortable, sturdy, and actually considered work-appropriate attire where I work! I actually have 2 pairs of jeans already, but one of them is ripped at the knees, and even a company with a laid-back attitude about work attire has limits.

Since I do work for a company where I have to occasionally do business-y sorts of things, I need to be able to pretend that I know how real adults dress. I surprised myself by finding a pair of linen (really linen-cotton blend, but shh shh don’t tell anyone I’m breaking one of the commands of the Deuteronomic code) pants for a reasonable price. Because, well, hey - linen is light and it isdamn comfortable.
